The all-new Jimny is officially launched in its signature shade of Kinetic Yellow at the Maruti Suzuki Authorised dealership, Tushi Motors, Bhubaneswar on 14th April 2023 at their showroom in Gajapati Nagar, Bhubaneswar. Jimny has been one of the most anticipated SUVs in the country and its high demand isn’t as big a surprise. The Jimny SUV is seen as a modern rendition of the iconic Gypsy from the past which had the biggest fan following. The most awaited car, Maruti Suzuki Jimny looks big and tall for its compact size, indicating its striking road presence.
During the grand launch at the Tushi Motors, the all-new Jimny attracted a lot of positive responses and customers’ enthusiasm for it. The new Maruti Suzuki Jimny will be available solely with a 1.5-liter naturallyaspirated four-cylinder petrol engine, which will be offered with the options of a 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission. The new Jimny claims 104 PS of maximum power and 138 Nm of maximum torque and will be available with Suzuki’s All Grip four-wheel-drive system as standard. The Jimny 5-Door will provide the driving performance expected by customers from an authentic off-roader. The all-new Jimny 5-Door has adopted design and equipment to appeal to a wider range of customers. The new Jimny comes in both automatic and manual transmission gearbox options and will be offered in two variants – Zeta and Alpha.
The off-roader SUV has had the attention of enthusiasts and will attract passionate and professional off-roaders. It is to be noted that the Jimny has a compact size combined with a short wheelbase and lightweight in the international market, which makes the 5-door version of the SUV highly unlikely.
After unveiling the new Jimny, Maruti Suzuki announced the commencement of bookings for the lifestyle off-roader.
