ICC to hold National Conference on ” Viksit Odisha 2036″
The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is organising a National Conference to promote the vision of’ Vikasit Odisha’. A roadmap for economic acceleration, inclusive and sustainable growth Odisha is emerging as the fastest growing economy among major Indian states by 2023-24, recording an impressive estimated growth rate of 8.5%. ICC has announced its next conference on April 19 to accelerate the state’s journey towards ‘Vikasit Odisha’ by 2036. The conference to be held at Hotel May Fair will be attended by Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, Minister Sampada Swain, Minister Bibhuti Bhushan Jena, Finance Secretary, Union Ministry of Finance Nagaraj Madirala and other esteemed guests.
The conference will bring together industry, government, academia and The conference will bring together key stakeholders from civil society to deliberate on the theme, “Economic Acceleration, Inclusive and Sustainable Growth: A Vision for a Developed Odisha”. From rich mineral reserves, abundant forest cover and a long coastline to a large working age population, stable power and water infrastructure – supported by strong infrastructure. In line with this vision, the conference will focus on creating an enabling environment for growth.

Through this conference, we aim to facilitate important discussions and actionable insights that can catalyze inclusive, sustainable and accelerated growth.”
