The Inaugural Day of Ekamra Vatika, the premier new school of Bhubaneswar, was held on 19th November, 2022 by His Excellency, The Honourable Governor, Prof. Ganeshi Lal Ji. The school announced its admissions for play group and nursery for the academic year 2023-24. The event was graced by the presence of many dignitaries and parents, and witnessed heartfelt support from The Honourable Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Naveen Patnaik Ji virtually.
With the vision of reimagining early childhood education in Bhubaneswar, Ekamra Vatika has been designed with the intentional thought of creating a learning environment guided by the best international practices, deep-rooted research and understanding of how children learn. Through its bespoke curriculum, student-centric infrastructure, and progressive teaching-learning approaches, the school aims to engage young children in experiential and life-changing learning.
Mrs. Meghna Singh Deo, Chairperson, Ekamra Vatika, shared her vision and philosophy. She expressed that in a world where everyone is frantically racing to the finish line, we would like to teach our children to slow down and appreciate the beauty around them. To be compassionate and kind, to be inclusive and fearless, to be honest and confident.The occasion was graced by Dr. Ranjit Kumar Joshi, an exemplary figure in the field of child health. Dr. Joshi brought with him over two decades of invaluable experience, predominantly dedicated to the care of fragile newborns. His valuable words about the well-being of children was a great advice for the parents as well as the teachers. He also specified that each child is different in their own way and has to be dealt with unique strategies, specially tailor-made for each one of them, so that they can open their wings and fly high in their lives. His presence honoured us and adds a profound significance to our celebration.
With the Inaugural Day in November, 2022 when we have begun our journey with a small batch of Play group children till today when we look forward to a fresh group of LKG, we’ve really come a long way in nurturing young minds and bring about a holistic development of the children. Admissions are now open for Play group, Nursery and LKG for the academic year 2024-25.
