Bhubaneswar : Independence day is celebrated in Bhubaneswar Model Public School and marked the opening of its Annual exhibition “AVISHKAAR”-2025, on 15th August 2025. The event showcased a remarkable display of talent and innovation, cantered around the topics based on various Social Science and Science. The opening ceremony, graced by the esteemed presence of Sri Smuti Ranjan Pradhan as the Chief Guest. They were accompanied by the Chairman of the School Shri Tutul Kishore Das, the Director Smt. Sikata Das, and the Principal Smt. Lipsita Mohanty. It was an unforgettable celebration of creativity and intellect.The august gathering had lots of well wishers like honored guests, esteemed parents, students, teachers, school staff. The programme started by the school choir group, which presented the school Song in front of the august gathering. The Principal of the school, Smt. Lipsita Mohanty, formally welcomed the eminent guests.She related the school’s achievements till date and thanked everyone for their contributionin this journey of BMPS Takshila School. The Chairman of the School Shri Tutul Kishore Das, thanked the parents and guardians fortheir constant support and believing in the school and its management and blessed th estudents on this occasion. BHUBANESWAR MODEL PUBLIC SCHOOL (Takshila) not only lays out scholasticand co-scholastic education but also educates the value education and moral education toits students. The school not only provides education theoretically but also practically sothat they can turn out to be well educated individuals for the real world. A short yet colourful cultural programme was presented on the occasion that showcasedthe culture of our state and nation. The cultural programme had a Patriotic song by the winners Interschool Patriotic Song Competition. With immense pride the senior students , presented Odissi dance performance that evoked the spirit of unity and painted a picture of our nation’s diverse yet harmonious fabric.
After the Cultural Programme, honourable Chief Guest, Sri Smruti Ranjan Pradhan, declared the Exhibition Open. Students presented different types of models which were related to different branches of science. This year’s Exhibition inspired participants to explore and present a wide range of projects across disciplines such as physics, chemistry, biology, social science and environmental science. The exhibits included working models, research projects, and interactive demonstrations, all reflecting the students’ deep understanding of scientific concepts and their application to real-world problems. BMPS, Takshila, aims to give students a window to the wider world and provide them with unwavering guidance and support. A day of honour, a day of appreciation, a day of encouragement and motivation! It was the day of felicitation of the stars for their outstanding performance in classes X & XII. It was an honour to facilitate the synergy for excellence in education. We have added another successful academic year to its credit.The other highlight of the ceremony was the Prize Distribution, a moment to recognize and reward outstanding achievers. Each winner was bestowed with a certificate, acknowledging their relentless efforts and exceptional talent.In a gracious gesture of admiration and support, the school felicitated the young innovators behind the creation of various Models. After that our chief guest gave a motivational speech on how technology made things more efficient and also told us that there are unlimited opportunities in the field of science. He was presented with a memento, as a token of respect and affection to our respected Chief Guest.
