Preparing “Future Entrepreneurs of Odisha”


Bhubaneswar: After bringing together women entrepreneurs at the Women’s Business Mela earlier this month, Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Women’s Entrepreneurship Council (IWEC) in association with has extended its support to Kapila Nagpal, Founder, Little Readers Club in her initiative of preparing young entrepreneurs for the future. In a Press Meet event at Hotel Seetal, Educator, Happiness Coach and International Storyteller, Ms Kapila Nagpal, Founder of Little Readers Club will launch her initiative ‘Future Entrepreneurs of Odisha’, a series of workshops over ten days for aspiring entrepreneurs in the age group of twelve years and above.  The meeting will be graced by Mr. M.K. Gupta, Co-Chairman, ICC Odisha State Council; Ms. Swati Kejriwal, Core member, IWEC Initiative Lead; Ms. Sukirti Patnaaik, Co-Chairperson, IWEC and Convenor – IWEC, ICC Odisha State Council: Ms Archita Sahu, actor and brand ambassador; along with Ms. Kapila Nagpal and Mr. Pradeep Kumar Nayak, Executive Officer, Indian Chamber of Commerce.  The key objective of the workshops is to nurture young minds and hone their capabilities to become entrepreneurs in future. The workshops are designed to impart knowledge on a wide range of entrepreneurial skills including basic marketing, sales, human resources, presentation, breakthrough sessions and project work to provide varied exposure on entrepreneurship to the participants. The participants will be a part of five days internship programme and receive five theory sessions, present a business plan or get hands-on experience on making PPTs, besides receiving certificates for the acquired skills through the workshops. The workshops will be conducted at Plot 137, Punjabi Colony, Satya Nagar, Bhubaneswar from 24th May 2022.  Little Readers Club provides a platform to the students for their overall grooming. It focuses on enhancing language skills, presentation skills and creative writing skills for adults as well as students.
