NSDC Partner Oraneestablishes presence in Odisha Launches 1st skills training centre at Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar/Delhi: National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC)-Approved Training Partner Orane International launched its 1st training facility at Bhubaneswar on Sunday to empower youth with quality cutting-edge skills for jobs and self-employment in the booming beauty and wellness sector whose size nationwide is forecast to touch almost Rs 150,000 crore by 2020.
The Orane centre at Bhubaneswar – located at Santosh Plaza, 3rd Floor, Plot No. 5, Janpath, Satya Nagar – would offer international best-in-classemployability-linked courses covering the entire gamut of the beauty and wellness sector to give students a wide range of options to choose from. Training would be provided by skilled and certified faculty with experience of working in industry.

The Orane facility at Bhubaneswar was formally inaugurated by Orane Co-Founder & CEO Mr. Dinesh Sood, in the presence of other leading lights of the skill development fraternity, at a glittering ceremony this morning.
Speaking on the occasion, Orane Co-Founder & CEO Mr. Dinesh Sood, said, “We are very pleased to be here in Odisha given the huge opportunities that the state presents for the beauty and wellness sector and the demonstrated commitment of the Government of Odisha to the causes of skill development, women empowerment, and youth entrepreneurship.”

“Going forward, we plan to set up more training centres in Odisha as Orane wants to contribute in a significant way to the ongoing initiative of the state to make ‘Skilled-in-Odisha’-a Global Brand. We are already in touch with the authorities here in this regard and hope to shortly discuss these aspects with them in greater detail,” Mr. Sood added.
More than 40,000 youth, majority young women, have already benefitted from the training they received at Orane’s institutes, spread across 11 states and 2 Union Territories, by being able to find well-paying jobs of their choice in the beauty and wellness arena both within India and overseas. Several Orane students have also become self-employed or turned entrepreneurs.
As per a study conducted by the NSDC, the manpower requirement in India’s beauty and wellness domain is expected to almost double from 7.39 million in 2017 to 14.27 million in 2022.
