“Going forward, we plan to set up more training centres in Odisha as Orane wants to contribute in a significant way to the ongoing initiative of the state to make ‘Skilled-in-Odisha’-a Global Brand. We are already in touch with the authorities here in this regard and hope to shortly discuss these aspects with them in greater detail,” Mr. Sood added.
More than 40,000 youth, majority young women, have already benefitted from the training they received at Orane’s institutes, spread across 11 states and 2 Union Territories, by being able to find well-paying jobs of their choice in the beauty and wellness arena both within India and overseas. Several Orane students have also become self-employed or turned entrepreneurs.
As per a study conducted by the NSDC, the manpower requirement in India’s beauty and wellness domain is expected to almost double from 7.39 million in 2017 to 14.27 million in 2022.
