ICC National Women’s Entrepreneurship Council (INWEC) Celebrates Leadership Transition

The ICC National Women’s Entrepreneurship Council (INWEC) successfully conducted its changeover ceremony on the 2nd of February 2024 at Hotel Crown. The event commemorated the leadership transition from Ms. Tanaya Patnaik, Executive Director of Sambad Group, to the incoming Convenor, Ms. Preeti Patnaik, MD of Tushi Motors and Co-founder of Kalinga DesiAgro Foundation, alongside Ms. CA Swati Kejriwal, Partner at M/s O.M. Kejriwal & Co., as the new Co-Convenor.

Ms. Tanaya Patnaik, in her former role as the Convenor, made invaluable contributions to INWEC and now continues her association with the council as a member of the Advisory Board. Her experience and vision will further enrich the council’s strategic direction.

The incoming leadership, marked by Ms. Preeti Patnaik and Ms. CA Swati Kejriwal, represents a blend of entrepreneurial spirit and professional expertise. Their induction is a testament to INWEC’s commitment to fostering a diverse and dynamic leadership landscape.

An engaging fireside chat was a key feature of the ceremony, involving Ms. Tanaya Patnaik, Ms. Preeti Patnaik, and Ms. Nisha Jamvwal, a renowned celebrity columnist. The insightful conversation highlighted the challenges and triumphs of women entrepreneurs. Ms. Jamvwal, also invited to join the Advisory Board for the term 2024-25, brought a unique perspective to the discussion.

Another significant milestone was the launch of the INWEC-App. This digital platform is designed to streamline communication among members, offering easy access to information, business referrals, and networking opportunities across various sectors and categories.

The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests including Mr. J B Pany, Chairman of ICC Odisha State Council, who delivered the welcome address. Mr. Rajib Sahoo, Senior Vice Chairman, provided a special address, while Mr. J P Pal, Regional Director of ICC Odisha, concluded the event with the Vote of Thanks.

Attended by approximately 75-80 INWEC members and core committee members of ICC Odisha State Council, the event marked a strong show of support and unity in the pursuit of empowering women entrepreneurs.

This event represented a significant step forward for INWEC, with a renewed vision for growth and empowerment under its new leadership.
