Bhubaneswar: After the success of INWEC Women Business Mela, Fashion and Lifestyle Mela has started in Bhubaneswar in collaboration with Indian Chamber of Commerce and Women Entrepreneurship Council. The Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Naveen Pattnaik inaugurated this Mela, which started at Patronics Ground in Patia, through a video message and conveyed his good wishes. Bhubaneswar Mayor Sulochana Das, I.A.S. and Principal Secretary of Handloom Textiles and Handicrafts Sri Arvind Padhi, M.S.M.E. Joint Director, DFO Cuttack Pawan Gupta, Shyambhakti Mishra, Managing Director of Bayonika, Evos Buildcon Pvt. Ltd., Co-Founder and Managing Director, Kalinga Keshari Rath, Managing Director of Arundhati Jewellers, Brahmanand Meher, I.C.C. Odisha Branch Chairman J.B. Pani, Co-chairman M. K. Gupta, INWEC Convenor Sukirti Patnaik, Co-convenor Tanaya Patnaik, Core member Preeti Pallavi Patnaik were present. Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan was the main attraction on the inaugural evening. His inspiring performance kept the audience glued there. Similarly, in the ramp show of the Bhubaneswar Super Bike Club, actor Sidhant Mohapatra was seen as a show stopper. Designers Vedika Khandelwal, Zubina Alli, Lopamudra Bhanj and Ritika Rulhan showcased their designs. This Fashion Lifestyle Mela will continue here till 12of Jan. More than 120 stalls of entrepreneurs have been opened in the field of fashion handloom and lifestyle business. Especially the S.H.G. Women’s stall is located here. The stalls of women entrepreneurs display their products. Similarly, conferences, workshops, talk shows, cultural events, fashion shows, food festivals are seen in this Mela.
The biggest thing is that more than 30 f ashion shows featuring Odisha designers will be held in this Mela. Children, mothers, models and participants will show off their skills. Bollywood fashion designer Manish Malhotra, Bollywood. Actress Dia Mirza, actor Zayed Khan are scheduled to attend this Fashion and Lifestyle Mela.
