Parichay foundation gifted Nestle kit to corona warriors of BMC

Dr. Rosalin Patasani Mishra (Founder/President) Parichay Foundation informed today, that her Foundation being a channel partner has received consumer packaged goods from Nestle India Ltd under their CSR initiatives.
Today she has handed over the material of cost approx. 10 lakhs to Shri P. C. Chaudhary Commissioner of BMC along with Sj Suvendu Kumar Sahu, Deputy Commissioner, BMC at Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation office.
As we all know that our Brave workers of BMC are working hard at Bhubaneswar, a city Dense in population, specially slums have emerged as a major challenge for Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation’s fight to control the Covid-19 spread in the Capital City.
Bhubaneswar has over 436 slums of which more than 300 are unauthorized. Though novel coronavirus cases have been reported from 12 slums so far, the infection has started spreading to other areas as new cases are emerging almost every day. Mainly the Salia Sahi which spreads over an area of around 256 acre and is home to more than 1 lakh people from different districts of the State. Consisting of around 35 clusters, the huge slum is source for support service workers to housing complexes, apartments, offices and commercial establishments including hotels, restaurants, malls and educational institutions in and around the Bhubaneswar.
Applauding our “Corona warriors” of BMC working during the coronavirus pandemic being vulnerably exposed to rising Covid-19 infections. They are taking care of containment zones, executing at quarantines center, handling entire population of Bhubaneswar.
So many praising stories streamed in media about self-lees and bravery act of our BMC employees, specially their families who willingly exposed themselves to the possible transmission of Covid19 via the family person serving the city being in BMC.
Nestle India Ltd. via Parichay Foundation has expressed its gratitude towards the brave BMC workers who are in the forefront of the battle against Covid-19 Pandemic.
