Bhubaneswar: Folk Festival organized by Kalanjali Artistry Trust at Utkal Mandap in collaboration with Odisha Government and Evos Buildcon has concluded. His Excellency the Governor prof Ganeshi Lal joined as the inaugurater of the function and highly praised the steps taken by the Trust for the development of folk art. Hon’ble Minister of Culture Department, Government of Odisha Mr. Ashwini Kumar Patro joined as the Chief Guest, Hon’ble MP, Rajya Sabha, Mr. Amar Patnaik joined as the Chief Speaker while other guests were State Planning Board Member Dr. Ramesh Chandra Chaupattanaik, Hon’ble MLA Berhampur Mr. Vikram Kumar Panda, Bhubaneswar municipal Corporation Commissioner Shri Vijay Amruta Kulange, cashew board Chairman Shri Subash Maharana, Evos Buildcon Managing Director Shri Kalinga Keshari Rath, Heal The World Founder Dr. C.P Soni, Chairperson of Bharatiya Swarnker sangha Shri O.P. Soni, President of Kalanjali Artistry Trust Prof. Bai Ladu Panigrahi attended the evening..In the second session, OTDC Chairman Shri Lelin Mohanty, State Board Chairperson Prasanna Pattasani, OSD Tourism Department, Government of Odisha Shri Anshuman Rath, Joint Commission BDA Shri Sweta Kumar Dash, Deputy Commissioner B.E. M.C Mr. Binod Kumar Behera, DSP Crime Berhampur Mr. Akshay Kumar Nayak, Founder of Senapati Ply Mr. K. Ratikanta Senapati, Educationist and Child Education Consultant Ms. Sanjukta Panda, Founder of Rashmi Enterprises Mr. Raja Senapati, MD of AAstha Hospital, Shri Prabhakar Padhi, founder of Rajarani Real Estate Ms. Uma Panigrahi was present and praised the initiative taken by the trust. Various steps have been taken by the Kalanjali Artistry Trust for the development of folk art. Mrs. Rameshwari Nanda , the founder of the trust, said that various programs will be taken up at the national and international level by the institution for the promotion of folk art. The second evening of the program featured various cultural programs including tribal dance by Gayatri niketan Raygada, Kui dance of Phulbani, handloom ramp show by Suravi ladies group, paika akhada by Kalinga paika Creation, mom and kid ramp show, jhoomar by Aradhya Dance Academy, Tandab dance by DSR Dance Chhatrapur, Kandhei dance from Khemundi Lokakala Academy, Animal mask folk by Bichitra Barnali Natya sansad and special programs were organized by the students of Kalanjali Trust. All the members of the Kalatali Trust along with the Treasurer of the Trust, Ardhendu Shekhar Panigarahi, were present in this program.
