Bhubaneswar : An International Conference on computational Finance and business analytics was held at IIMT, Kantabada, Bhubaneswar under the presidentship of Professor (Dr.) Srikanta Patnaik, Director IIMT. Participating in the discussion, he said that computational finance has a special significance on the functioning of industries and trade for which it gives profit to the entrepreneur. At the outset, Fransis Bartilochi, Professor, Dept. of Economics, University of Perugio, Italy told through Zoom that both computational finance and business analytics are required to fulfil the basic aim of the entrepreneur towards integrated progress of the companies. Prominent social activist and former information commissioner of Odisha, attending the Conference as a Chief Guest Shri Jagadananda addressed that the forest products and agricultural products collected by local Adivasis in undivided Koraput district are sold in chiefly in local hata carrying on head. Associate Professor Mrs. Soma Mitra address the theme of the Conference. Whereas Prof (Dr.) Pramod Ku. Prusty, Dean Academics and Prof (Dr.) Jagamohan Pattanayak, Dean Administration & Student Welfare introduced the guest and extended the vote of thanks respectively.
