Bhubaneswar: DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar organized its Annual Athletic Meet-2018-19with fervour and excitement experienced amidst thrills, shrills and cheers. More than 1500 students from LKG- XII divided into 8 categories took part in different trackand field events. ‘Games and sports constitute an integral part of school curriculum and play an important role in imparting the values of discipline, team spirit and cooperation among the budding young students’, said the Principal of the school Mr. Bipin Kumar Sahoo in his speech in the inaugural meeting organized to mark this occasion. It was organized for 3 day and came to a close with the felicitation of the winners with certificates and trophies by the Principal. Biswaraj Nayak and Sishrita Priyadarshini in senior group and Soubhagya Shankar Behera and Debasmita Rath in junior group emerged as champions in boys and girls category respectively.
