To the descendants of all classes the 8th edition of Bhubaneswar Runway Week has been held at a local star hotel under the guidance of Jhon Ajay, Director, Addiction Fashion Management. In this occasion Bhubaneswar Mayor smt Sulochan Das ,Usha padhy (Secretary, Department of Commerce and Transport), Shri Arvind Padhi (Principal Secretary, Department of Agriculture), Kaling Keshari Rath (Director, Evos Buildcon), Naveen Khandoi (Principal Advisor, Bhubaneswar Runway weak), Suma Mohanty (Director, SNM Group), Shruti Mahapatra (Founder Chairman, Reflection), Sanu Rath (Editor, My City Links) were join as the guest .The main attraction of the fashion show was Miss Universe 2022 Devita Rai. The mind-blowing designs and attractive ramp show captivated the audience. In this program 12 designers showcased their designs. Priya Mohapatra showcased her brand prieyas. In Prieya’s by Priya Mohapatra an unique collection named “khwaaish” depicts traditional delicate oldest embroidery style chikankari from Lucknow has been used.. In the collection new embellishments like gota patti,mirror,sequins has been added in the embroidery work to make it more lusturous. The collection is a fusion of style and tradition where as Dapper Dally showcased by Devangini Behera which is coming with a collection named vintage bennett. The collection focuses on the old literary form, which gives a beauteous look and is accompanied by gloves and pearls. Blossoms Couture by Manish and Avipsa is showcased where very antique yet fresh vibe with a touch of muted color story. Bold drapes, nostalgic pleats and folds and indo western silhouttes are the vitals of this collection. Texas jeans is showcasing its wide collections of denim. Daksha Design Studio By Savitri Panigrahi is coming up with the summer collection named Summer beats..Floral prints, vibrant colours, basic silhouettes will be on the ramp this time.Earthy Hues by Satya Moharana is showed Earthy Hues Couture Fashion collection “MUKTESHWAR” by Designer Satya Moharana is a fine presentation of French Couture and Drapes using Odisha handloom made by our weavers from Maniabandh Ikat cluster and Gopalpur Tusser Cluster and using authentic Traditional Silver Filigree jwellery. Sakshi Handlooms by Pradeep Shahari is the designer passionate about ‘Sambalpuri Ikat’ and with many shows across India to his credit is once again showcasing his creations at Bhubaneswar Runway Week. AJ Fashion by Selina Doson showcased designs on children “GLAMOUR GIRL” design is extreme beautiful which attracts the audience. The theme of glamour in fashion design is all about creating collections that are breathtakingly beautiful, opulent, and luxurious, make a statement on the runway and beyond. Label Bahaar by Lopamudra Bhanj and Priths by Pritam Pal is showcased which highlights how beauty can be adorned not with just bold and bright colours but also with the cottony, soft pastels. There has been a wave of getting out the centre area of wearing the traditional colour and fits as a bride. The collection Patel Bride is one such collection from the Wardrobe of Priths by Pritam Pal. Nikita’s couture by Nikita Nayak brings you the luxurious cocktail outfits Martini. Inspired by the perfect blend of style, comfort and Fashion to rock your evening till you party you way to Dawn. Label Tanya Ray by Tanya Ray, launched her exquisitely contemporary and quirky Spring Summer couture design collection Bloom was inspired by the beautiful flowers in her father’s garden where she took the simple silhouettes of various summer flowers and turned it into something beautifully Avant Garde. All the textiles used are our beautiful hand looms such as Eri, muslin, tussar, etc making the entire collection completely sustainable. Many distinguished guests participated in the event, and many more designs of the designers touched the hearts of the audience.
