Red Swastik Society celebrates World Disabled Month
120 differently-abled people given electric hands
Bhubaneswar: Red Swastik Society Odisha branch celebrated World Disabled Month at Utkal Rangamanch located at Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Odisha Research Center. On this occasion, 120 differently-abled people from different districts of Odisha were provided with automatic electric hands. Along with this, 60 blankets were distributed. Deputy Chief Minister K V Singh Deo was the chief guest at the event organized jointly by Red Swastik Society Odisha and INALI Foundation and said that the work done by the organization in my district is commendable. This organization continues to work like this. I am always with you and will always be with you.Dr. Prabodh Mohanty, Director of SNM Group joined as the guest of honor in this event.. Red Swastik Society Odisha branch has taken this step by collecting data of differently-abled people from different parts of the state. Red Swastik Society, Odisha branch secretary Debasis Patnaik said that various programs have been taken and will be taken forward for the upliftment of differently-abled people in the state. Social worker Pramod Patra, vocalist Anandita Das, actress Kajal Shatpathy, physiotherapist Prabhanjan Rayasamant, founder of Green Chilliz M. Keshav Rao were honored in this program. Music was performed by various renowned vocalists in the program. Red Swastik Society Odisha branch chairman Bijay Acharya and all members of Red Swastik Society were present on this occasion.
