Bhubaneswar: The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Job Mela 2024 has begin with much excitement and enthusiasm at the Grand Lumbini Convention. Inaugurating the mela organized under the supervision of ICC Skill and Education Committee member Sikata Das. His Excellency the Governor Raghubar Das inagurated the mela and said that this job mela has empowered young women as catalyst for job seekers. It provides benefits for national development. Job mela have become a powerful means of realizing the dreams of the youth. Now, India is able to move forward with the fastest growing financial system, from skills to startups. Skill development is increasing in Odisha. Young women have become skilled. Odisha has a large sea coast . It can be further improved. With job mela there will the training of young in handicrafts must be needed.This can create many jobs. Similarly Odisha has the largest port in Paradip. I will appeal to the state government to improve it. With this, he thanked the ICC and wished the aspirants the best for getting the job.Presided over by ICC Odisha State Council Chairman J B Pany, Vice Chairman Rajeev S Sahu, ICC Skill Education Committee Advisor Badri N Patnaik, SNM Group Managing Director Prabodh Mohanty and ICC Regional Director J P Pal were present.
An appreciative crowd was noticed on the first day of the opening. In which more than 1 thousand applicants participated. The program consisted of three key technical sessions aimed at enhancing the employability skills of the candidates. The first session “Introduction to Job Interviewing” taught job candidates valuable tips and techniques to showcase their personality. The second session focused on “Improving Resumes and Cover Letters”, which provided candidates with strategies for creating attractive resumes and cover letters. The final session was “Technical Interview Preparation”, which focused candidates on how to prepare for and succeed in technical interviews. These sessions were conducted by eminent faculty from University of Utah, XIM University and Infosys, which imparted more knowledge and practical knowledge to the candidates. ICC job mela 2024 will be held for two days, promising more opportunities and participation for job candidates in various fields.
