CSIR –IMMT, Bhubaneswar has successfully conducted a mini workshop (Indo-Israel) on future prospects of Li Ion battery cathode: materials.In the opening session, Prof Suddhasatwa Basu, Director CSIR- IMMT has briefed about the efforts of CSIR IMMT for battery material development under ESPOB. at IT Delhi. Prof. Malachi Noked, Department of Chemistry, Bar-Ilan University, Israel, Erez Schreiber, CEO, Founder, 3D Battery, Israel and Prof. Surendra Kumar Martha , Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad have delivered very insightful talks on the recent development of Lithium Ion battery materials and the Chemistry where a number of business opportunities lie for young entrepreneurs along with battery manufacturing sectors. 3D battery is discussed about business opportunities through setting up start up at India. There is a scope for CSIR-IMMT to strengthen the Indo-Israel R&D relationship through this opportunity. About 65 participants have been participated in virtual mode from all over the world including participants from Lucas TVS an Indian company, Murdoch University, Australia, Purdue University, USA, different IIT’s and State Universities. Dr. A.K Sahu, has briefly explained CSIR-IMMT initiative InTEC and CRTDH for entrepreneuring the Research and Technology Development. The overall programme has been coordinated by Dr. Mamata Mohapatra, Pr. Scientist and Dr. Ayan Mukherjee, DST, Ramanujan Fellow working in the same institute.
