CSIR-IMMT (Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology), Bhubaneswar, Odisha is organising One Week National e-Workshop on Innovation & Intellectual Property Rights

The week long National e-Workshop on Innovation & Intellectual Property Rights organised by CSIR-IMMT (Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology), Bhubaneswar, Odisha was inaugurated on a virtual Conference platform today.Inaugurating the e-Workshop Hon’ble Chief Guest Dr. Pranath Venugopalan, Chief Scientist & Head, NCL innovation, discussed on Intellectual property & Innovation.

This e-workshop comprises a series of sessions with practical experiences, case studies and hands-on training on various aspects of IPRs dealt with about 22 experts from different working domains such as IP firms, Academia, Scientific, and Indian Patent Office etc., covering the major players of the IP ecosystem.
Speaking on this occasion Prof. S Basu, Director, CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar said, It’s a first kind of initiative happening from CSIR -IMMT.we are happy to inform you that, CSIR-IMMT has initiated an incubation centre -InTEC (Innovative and Technology Enabling Centre) recently. As part of sensitization activities of CSIR-IMMT: InTEC a one-week National e-Workshop on Innovation and Intellectual Property Rights (NeW IPR-2021) is being organized from June 14-19, 2021 for the benefit of academics, research, industry, MSME, Startups and others at large with the theme Intellectual Property for ALL.
Dr Ashok K Sahu, Chief Scientist & CEO-InTEC, Dr B S Jena, Chief Scientist, Head-PME, Dr Pavan Kumar, Sr Scientist & Manager InTEC along with other guests and delegates were present at the e inaugural session.
The e workshop has received an overwhelming response with more than 1000 participants from different organisations PAN India.
Speakers and experts from Various organisation will discuss on different aspects of the theme Intellectual Property for All and its importance in this week-long e workshop.
