Bhubaneswar: The Puri Emperors avenged the earlier defeat to beat Bramhapur Bhanjaveers in an inconsequential match of the OPL T20.

 

With this, Puri Emperors finished their campaign with seven points from eight matches. Earlier, Bramhapur Bhajaveers bowled out for a paltry 89 in 19.1 overs.

 

Prashant Sahu scored 27, while Niranjan Behera made 21. For Puri, Rakesh Mohanty took three wickets. Sumitosh Praharaj took four wickets.

 

Chasing a victory target of 90, Bramhapur Bhanjaveers reached 93/4 in 18.4 overs. Ajay Rout was the top scorer at an unbeaten 39. Sumitosh Praharaj was declared 'Man of the Match'.
