Bhubaneswar: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) in Bhubaneswar busted a human trafficking racket and rescued five minor girls at the railway station.

These minor girls were travelling in Baripada-Bhubaneswar Intercity Express. They were accompanied by a boy. All the girls were in the age group of 12 and 17. The 18-year-old boy, who accompanied him, is being questioned.

According to the RPF, the girls were being taken to Madurai in Tamil Nadu to work in a nut and bolt factory. A man named Babu Rout (Tihidi) was identified as the broker in the deal. He promised these girls a salary of Rs 4,500 per month.

Hunt is for the other conspirators who could be involved in this human trafficking.
