Bhubaneswar: MindTree Consulting, one of India's leading IT firms, is planning to revive its project in Odisha after five years of delay, which will provide a great opportunity for job seekers.

MindTree has been handed over the 20 acres of litigation free lad at the Infocity area in the state capital Bhubaneswar and the foundation stone for the project will be laid on January 26, 2012.

The company will build a 10,000-seater software development centre on the total built-up area of 1.5 million sq ft. Finally, the project will begin after many ups and downs in the last five years.

The Bangalore-based company had announced to build a developmental centre in Odisha's state capital with an investment of around Rs 200 crore and had signed a MoU with the government on August 29, 2006.

However, the company had planned to pull out the project in Odisha expressing its inability to go ahead with the project. It had even sought refund of the amount deposited for the land.
