Traders observe Bandh in Odisha in protest against FDI PDF Print E-mail

Bhubaneswar: Thousands of traders across Odisha observed a complete shutdown today in protest against centre's decision to allow 51% FDI in multi-brand retail.

 

Shops and business establishments remained closed in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Berhampur, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Balasore, Balangir, Nuapada, Jeypore, Jajpur, Bhadrak and many other towns in the state.

 

The bandh was backed by the BJP and Left parties. The bandh call was given by the All India Retailer and Traders Association. The All Odisha Vendors Association extended full support to the bandh.
